The Namibia Revenue Agency (NamRA) is at the 2025 Ondangwa Trade and Industrial Exhibition (OTIE), which commenced on 27 June and will run until 5 July 2025. This initiative forms part of NamRA’s broader tax campaign aimed at enhancing service delivery and deepening engagement with taxpayers and traders across the country.
By yesterday (Wed), over 700 customers were assisted, with 95% of them submitting their tax returns, an encouraging indicator of growing tax compliance.
About a third of the customer were pensioners, reflecting the Agency’s commitment to serving all segments of the population.
NamRA’s participation in the exhibition is aligned with its mandate to make tax and customs services more accessible and centralised.
The NamRA stand at OTIE offers a wide array of services, including e-filing assistance, ITAS registration, issuance of tax certificates, support on import and export procedures, valuation classification and other customs and excise-related matters.
